Have you ever gone on a large crowd surrounded by people that you are not familiar with? Do you feel secured? scared? anxious? — having people around you? How about riding on a public transportation on a daily basis? Have you ever thought of any while on board?

Here’s my 7 wonders inside a public transportation

  1. I wonder how it feels like being a driver. Have you ever thought how it feels driving on a road everyday together with different types of people. Some are drunk, some doesn’t pay, some are loud, some are lost or some are having a break down. Isn’t it amazing how a driver can handle different types of situation?
  2. I wonder what was going on with the life of my co-commuter. It’s funny and weird isn’t it? But have you ever had this random thinking — “what it feels like living the life of the person in front of me”. I mean, not because I hated my life or that I wanted to live their life. But I was curious sometimes especially on times like you will see someone crying on a bus or a train as if you wanted to know what happen. Have you ever thought of that as well?
  3. I wonder if there’s anyone inside this shuttle or a bus or train have already killed somebody? Yes, I guess I am exaggerating sometimes. But have you ever thought that maybe the one sitting next to you have actually committed a crime?
  4. I wonder how people enjoy riding a bus while there’s me — vomiting. Maybe people who have the same case as mine also dreamed or think the same way as me. It’s funny isn’t it. But honestly, I always think about how it feels to giggle, eat or sit comfortably without worrying about your motion sickness or at least not worrying why you forgot to take a medicine. If you are reading this, yep! You are not alone.
  5. I wonder where does the conversation started. Yes! I am guilty. Sometimes we just couldn’t avoid reading the text messages of the person next to us. I am sorry for invading the privacy but rest assured that I can’t even remember I did that once I’ve arrived on my destination. *winked*
  6. I wonder how a ride can be a cradle that rocks until we fell asleep. Let’s admit that even if we are not tired or even if we have enough sleep, the ride will put us to sleep — deeply.
  7. Lastly, I wonder how many people are excited to reach their destination and how many people are not. Most of us goes to the same route over and over again. But have you wonder how many people have actually take the risk and changed their path?

Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it” — Greg Anderson.

Let me know your thoughts. :)
